Street violence has spread to the upscale sections of the provincial capital, as seen by the theft of former cricketer Umar Akmal’s smartphones worth $75,000 in Model Town, Lahore.

Due to the theft of one of Akmal’s pricey cell phones, he has drawn notice once more. The player said that this week at Model Town C Block Cricket Ground, his two phones were taken.

According to Umar Akmal, the two mobile phones are worth a total of about 760,000 rupees.

Abbas Ali, the cousin of Umar Akmal, filed the case at the relevant police station, and now police teams are looking for criminals to recover the priceless mobile phones.
